Sina Weibo bug in security preferences, causing browser to crash

Help! I recently ran Norton antivirus and I think I got a virus from it. Chrome and safari crash on launch and also security and privacy in my system preferences crash on launch too. Looks like this

ive tried to fix this in safe mode to no avail. I’ve tried to delete the Chinese language in keyboard but no Chinese language is available, only English. Any attempts at helping me?

Hello calleM25,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're looking for options to assist in removing Sina Weibo from your Mac. We'll be happy to help.

You mentioned that you tried to correct this issue using safe mode. Did you try again after booting out of safe mode? If not, boot up as normal and test again.

If the issue with Chrome and Safari quitting unexpectedly continues, the steps in the following links can help:

If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac

If Safari is slow, stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or has other issues

For concerns with a virus, one of the best things you can do is make sure macOS is up to date. You can also run Malwarebytes as well. These links can help:

You might also consider accessing Disk Utility and running First Aid to see if that helps.

Best regards.
