I received an email "Start your free year of Apple TV+"

I have two 27 in iMac's with AppleCare, two iphone6, one iPad, one MacBook Air, one Apple Watch, two Apple TV's, and one airpod pro, but none were purchased in the past year. I have been to the genius bar recently with my iMac but was charged zero dollars. Today I got an email stating "Start your free year of Apple TV+" from appletv@insideapple.apple.*** and the addresses look legit.

I further states...

The new device you or a family member purchased comes with access to the streaming service, featuring exclusive Apple Originals — free for 1 year.* and I'm not aware of a new decide. Should I be concerned or is this somehow legit?

If the email appears legit (hover your cursor over the from address to reveal where it actually came from), then I’d call up Apple support to check. We can only guess here since we do not work for Apple.

The Apple TV + offer is only valid within 90 days of the purchase of a qualifying device. If you have not purchased a qualifying device within 90 days then you don't qualify for the free year of Apple TV + . As for the message you received I have no idea if it is legitimate or not as I have not read it in it's entirety.
