Effectively shut down??? Not for long! Apple and Google removed the app from their App Store. Parler will be up and running as soon as they find another hosting service. Then effectively, we will have freedom of speech again.

Apple is continuing to do what they have always done: suspend or remove apps that violate the App Store terms of use. Nothing new here.

The cessation of a particular social media site did not remove your freedom of speech. I don't use any social media and my freedom of speech is quite robust.

If you can’t download or update any apps, including free apps, and you see a message about billing or payment, learn what to do.
