Go to Canons support site for the printer.

Here is the link to your printers support site,

https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_ts_series/pixma-ts5350.html?type=drivers&language=en&os=macos%2010.13%20(high%20sierra)

Make sure the operating system selector is set for High Sierra.

You are told the printer is an AirPrint enabled printer so should not require drivers.

Click on this link to download software to setup your printer for use.

The Canon TS5350 device is supported by the built-in Apple AirPrint and does not require any Canon software or drivers for functionality. With the device powered and networked (wired/wireless), visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, and right-click on the existing TS5350 icon, or if not present, click the + symbol to add it. From the secondary menu, choose Reset printing system… and in the process of re-adding your device, choose the AirPrint driver instead of a Canon choice.

Hey there FABRIANO,

We'd like to help get your printer working with your Mac.

Let's start with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. You mentioned that error 311 shows on your Mac when connecting your printer to it, but a good thing to rule out would be to test connecting a different device to the same port to see if there are any issues.
  2. While you may be able to upgrade to a later macOS version, this isn't required at this time. However, we do recommend checking for any system updates for your current macOS version(High Sierra 10.13.6). Here's how to first Back up your Mac with Time Machine, and afterwards, here's How to update the software on your Mac.
  3. As Canon is a third-party company, you may need to download a driver for your printer to work properly with your macOS version. We recommend reaching out to Canon about this if you're unsure how to check for one.

Take care!
