The authorized and/or official Apple service can inspect and assess the MacBook

for a battery replacement. There are some details to consider before doing so.

• Mac Service and Repair - Official Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/mac/repair/service

Were there symptoms, or reason to tell the battery is nearing end-of-life?

Indications within MacBook of battery wear, may be due to 'Cycle count'.

(A longer duration of battery life may be noticed if you use portable Mac

on AC power adapter; since it cannot overcharge, if it's maintained thus.)

Cost estimates for battery replacement service are noted in above article.

And the article suggests a few things to check. Those, within blue color

text links to additional Support articles. Other troubleshooting ideas &

methods could be suggested, should you have additional questions.

• Determine battery 'cycle count' for Mac notebooks - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201585

"Once the cycle count is reached, a replacement battery is recommended

to maintain performance. ~ You can use your battery after it reaches its

maximum cycle count.. you might notice a reduction in your battery life."

Thank you very much!

Yes there’re signs of reduced battery capacity, the battery life lasts much less than it used to, in which it’s takes longer time to charge than the time it lasts when not connected to power.

I also got a notification to check battery services.

I’ll look into getting a new battery, thank you for your time👌🏻
