I want to permanently delete some apps from my iPhone/iCloud Library, but when I long press on the icon, it simply allows me to "remove from home screen". In reading an Apple article, it said if you to to the App Library list, you can long press to delete, but in there I only get options for Search, New Chat, Camera, My QR Code and Share app - there is no option to delete it! HELP!?

When you want to Delete an app that's on the Home Screen.. you do the long press, select 'Remove' and then a second prompt will follow. That prompt has the option to Delete.
If you locate the app in the App Library various category folders, you can do the same thing, but not from the alphabetical or search list.
Otherwise, you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, find and delete the app from there

Go to settings. Then to screen time. Then to content and privacy. Then to itune and app purchases. Then change your deleting apps setting.
If you turned off apple being able to delete apps without your knowledge you have to go back and allow that process and then you can delete any app then go back and disable it again so they can’t delete the apps.
I know this was done on my phone but now I can’t figure out how to go back and allow that process. Can you enlighten me please?
But change it back once you are done so your apps aren’t deleted without your permission.
