Manage your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support --> https://support.apple.com/HT204939

"If you cancel Apple Music, you'll lose access to the Apple Music catalog, any music that you added to your Library, and the features of Apple Music when your current subscription period ends."

edit: Well, it used to say that, but Apple has had an increasing policy to remove from its information pages anything a consumer might associate with a negative feeling.

You now have to dig deep down in Apple's legal documents to find, "When your Paid Subscription to any Service ends, you will lose access to any functionality or Content of that Service that requires a Paid Subscription."
