Why can't I visit the Wayback Machine?

The Wayback Machine is a public facility that displays only publicly-displayed web pages stripped of clickable links but Safari judges it to be not secure. Why? Will a different browser allow use?

Hi Ewan Lamont,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're seeing an alert that a website you're attempting to visit indicates it's not secure. Check out this article which explains in detail why this is happening: If you see a "Not Secure" warning while browsing the web with Safari

We're unable to speculate if other web browsers will report the same.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
