Airplay on MacBook Pro M1

My 3 year old MacBook Air and my iPad Pro working ok with my Sony TV. The new MacBookPro M1 does not. The MBP screen changes resolution and it changes the TV input but nothing is displayed on the TV screen. Please advise. Although sound starts coming from TV but not screen.

i contacted Apple and they said it is hardware issue. I will need to take it to nearest service centre and submit the new laptop for repair. Too disappointed with the M1. So far I have faced 2 issues with Macbook Pro M1 and these 2 issues have eaten all my excitement for new M1. This airplay issue and screensaver issue. Screensaver keeps on coming on itz own and does not go away until i close the lid. Hope Apple fixes the issues.

no way to fix, the airplay from mac m1 does not work, i call apple and they help me for more than one hour but no work.

it is a bug of m1 processor because with a old macbook works fine, i am waiting for a new version of big sur 11.2 and if it does not work i will send back the m1 macbook, for me it is so important! i use it for work!

it is strange that no one can fix!
