Light Printing

I'm restating the problem I have under this new title since I have received very few replies under the old title (Printing from Mail ver 14.0). This problem started after upgrading to Big Sur on my iMac.

When printing an email (or other screens such as this page) using <command><P>, some of the fonts are printed so light that they cannot be read. If I take a Screen Shot of the same email using <shift><command><4> then print the Screen Shot, everything can be read. What's the difference?

The problem is not with my Epson ET-3750 printer. Changing settings (or accounts) on either the computer or the printer make no difference. The fonts are light on the screen to begin with but they are readable on the screen. Why are light fonts used? Sometimes they are used for legal fine print or the headers on emails. I wish they won't use them. Any solutions?

P.S.: I just printed this page with <command><P> and everything below the Submit button cannot be read except the end of the legalese (Apple Support Communities Terms of Use---). The same light fonts can be read if a Screen Shot is printed.
