I can’t use Siri hands-free on my new phone. Can you help?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with Siri. It sounds like you are unable to use Hey Siri.

Please see this page for some steps that may help: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.

Be sure the feature is turned on in Settings > Siri & Search. If it is, try toggling the switch off and on.

Also note:

"If Siri still isn't reponding

• By default, Siri won't respond when your device is face down or covered unless you go to Settings > Accessibility > Siri and turn on Always Listen for "Hey Siri."
• If Lower Power Mode is turned on for your iPhone, you can't use "Hey Siri."
