How to extend signal FROM iPhone hotspot

Some groundwork: there is no cable nor fios. My only way to access the internet is cellular. The house has a metal roof and concrete walls. I get a decent cell signal (good enough to stream SD movies) in the living room. But no WiFi signal in the corners of the house. And basically no cell signal I the same rooms.

I was wondering if a WiFi range booster/extender can connect to the iPhone hotspot and the broadcast to the dead zone rooms.

thanks. In all replies assume zero networking knowledge on my part.

Yes it should be possible.

The Range extender, should pickup the iPhone as a regular wi-fi network, connect to it, and extend the network. how, will depend on the range extender you buy. Look in the extender's user guide for how to connect to a WiFi network as extend it.

Your other option of course, is to get a cellular MiFi device from your carrier, which works essentially the same as an iPhone, and generally has better range.
