Mackie Onyx Blackjack not working with Big Sur

Hello,

After a long time I have taken my Mackie Onyx Blackjack out of the mothballs. I had some inspiration for writing a song that was haunting my mind for a while. I had set up everything and created a little drum track to record the guitar to. But the guitar wouldn't record. After some searching I noticed the message in the audio setup "The selected device has no output controls".

I was gutted and started crying...just kidding. I did some research on the interweb and found out that the Mackie audio interface isn't supported more on Big Sur. Furthermore, I researched some more and found out that our Windows 10 friends have the same problem....but one Windows friend figured out how to still use the Mackie Audio Interface regardless by running the driver in Windows 7 compatible mode.

So with this question I am asking if there is someone out there that can do the same thing on an Apple Big Sur.

I will search further and post when I have some more information.
