Change organizer

My husband set up family share in 2015. He passed away in 2018. The credit card he used is no longer valid and it won’t let me change it because I’m not the organizer. What do I do?

Organizer When I purchased an iPad Air 2 for my husband back in 2017 through AT&T phone provider, I was helping him set up his new iPad. While in the process in doing so, something must of happened while I was setting it up because, somehow I must have hit something making the iPad think he was the organizer. He has since passed away and I have not been able to figure out how to delete him as the organizer let alone make me the main organizer. On top of that, I’m having a major issue with removing a credit card in my payment method section and it’s pissing me off, because it’s removing money off of it that I’m not authorizing to do so. I have no subscriptions available or any other payments trying to come off and I do not owe anything so why isn’t it not allowing me to remove my card! Please help.

Family share - purchases My wife and I have iPhones (12 and 13). I set up Family Sharing for Purchases. I am the Family Organizer. I have my credit card in Apple Wallet. She subscribes to iCloud to purchase monthly storage that gets charged to one of our Apple IDs. Don't remember which one it is. Recently, my credit card was reported lost/stolen and I got a new one. I added the new card to my wallet and her wallet. I then removed the card from both of our wallets. However, the monthly charge for iCloud is still somehow linked to the unauthorized/removed credit card via the Apple ID. When trying to purchase iCloud space she gets the following message, "Your payment method was declined. To make this purchase, ask your organizer to provide a new payment method." We have tried but not been successful. How do we accomplish this? How do I figure out which Apple ID was used?

See if anything here helps.

You need to disband the existing family using the steps in the article below. The new organizer (you) can then set up the new family and invite the family members to join the new family. If there are children under 13 years old, the new organizer needs to leave the existing family, set up the new family, and then the under 13 years old children can be transferred to the new family.
