Poor Reception on iPhone 12 mini

I read poor reception is an issue for many of the iPhone 12 line models. Has anyone heard any updates regarding this issue?


I have tried all of the suggestions I could find on google and none of them made a difference. I’m thinking about returning it, but I don’t want to pay all of the fees and I need a need a new phone.


PLEASE READ

First off, I don’t know if this is relevant, but I purchased an iPhone 12 mini to replace my iPhone 7 last week. Once I activated my iPhone 12 mini, my iPhone 7 remained connected to Verizon and it’s reception jumped from it’s usual 3 bars to 5 bars, staying that way for several days now. However, my iPhone 12 mini remains at 1 bar. Anyone know why this is happening? 


Main Issue

Since my iPhone 12 mini was activated 4 days ago, it has remained at 1 bar, rarely reaching 2 bars, but never more than that. The battery is depleted more quickly than my iPhone 7 which is probably due to lack of reception. 

 

*My brother has an android and my mom has an iPhone 11. Neither have poor service in my house.
