Can moving downloaded music from my phone to iCloud reduce phone storage? And if so how can I move music?

I have apple music and like 35 GB of downloaded music on my phone which (obviously) takes up most of my iPhone storage. I recently bought 50GB of cloud storage and was wondering if it were possible to move my downloaded music from my iPhone to iCloud in order to gain more storage on my phone.

No, it will not necessarily save you storage but you can ensure you are using the Optimize Storage on via Settings > Music.
