HomePod as a ringer for Iphone
I recently purchased a HomePod mini for my 82 year old dad who has sight challenges. He loves it. BUT I can’t figure out how to configure the phone so that it will ring on the HomePod. What am I missing?

It can’t ring on the HomePod,
he can do this if he hears his iPhone ring:
- Answer a call: When your iOS or iPadOS device rings, say “Hey Siri, answer the phone.” Before answering, you can ask “Hey Siri, who’s calling?”

Also, given his age you might be interested in him knowing how to summon first responders during an emergency.
