What if my 3rd gen watch doesn’t seem to have the 2.7 Gigs available to update to the latest iOS?

I don’t have enough storage and all apps have been deleted? Is a new watch in order?

Unable to update Watch series 3 I noticed that there was an update for my watch. Iphone 8 is up to date software 14.4, and watch is running 7.2. The update says its 191mb on the watch, but on the phone it says I need 2.5G of available space and I have 1.9G available on the watch. I have no extra apps on the watch, all are what it came with. No music, cleared all e-mails, and text messages, and no photos. Why do I need 2.5G of available space, for a 191mb update? Is there another way to update it, that I'm missing? Or, am I out of luck to do any future updates. Many thanks, Daren

Apple Watch update. How can I update my Apple Watch when the required download needs 3.1gb of data, but the watch has a total of 2.9gb storage? None of the apps showing can be deleted.

Unpair your Apple Watch via the Watch app on your iPhone.

Then Re-pair your Apple Watch,this frees up a surprisingly large amount of storage space.And without any loss of your data.
