I have an iPhone 12. When in a different app and receive a text, the notification alert is full volume. My ringer volume however is on lowest setting. There’s no separate notification volume that I can find. Anyone know the fix?

It seems like when the iPhone is unlocked and you receive a text the notification sound will be loud even though the ringer is set on low. It sounds like the volume for you iPhone ringer volume is different from the text notifications. This sounds like a setting difference between the phone ringer and text notifications.
