What do I do if my Mac runs on Big Sur?

I am trying to install a software but apple prevents me from doing so as it can't detect malware in the App. Troubleshooting as shown on the apple support pages only works for previous versions, but not Big Sur. What do I do?

Control Click on the app and chose "Open" from the menu that opens.

Can't get Big Sur When I try to get Big Sur from the App store, System preferences launches Software Update and I get an "Update not found". 2017 27" iMac. Everything up to date. I rebooted. No Clue. Is this possible a firewall thing?

is the problem regarding installing Big Sur on MacBook pro late 2013 solved? I have read that there have been problems for MacBook pro -late 2013 models, to install Big Sur. Is this problem solved, and is it safe to install Big Sur now?

Where is the offending App coming from, Outside of the Apple Apps Store?
