How to turn off beeper on clock timer iPhone 11
Isn’t there an easier way than turning off your screen. I don’t see a button to push to shut the thing up like on the iPhone 6

From your post, it sounds like you're unable to disable the timer on your iPhone. Are you attempting to disable the alarm from the lock screen? If so, you should see the orange Stop button on the lock screen. You may find this support article helpful: Use the timer or stopwatch on iPhone - Apple Support
