Upgrade my macOS Big Sur

I want to upgrade my macOS Big Sur, but I do not have enough space. Can I remove file "Install macOS Big Sur" ? That could free up more than 12 GB of space.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Only if you put it onto an external drive or choose not to upgrade; it's the installer application for the upgrade.
