New iPad pro 12.9, cannot get it set up.

New ipad pro 12.9, bought it for my wife so that she can get on facebook. Having trouble getting it setup. Screen displays, iPad is disabled, line 2, connect to itunes. My desktop is a linux mint OS, not compatible with apple OS. Help!

Since it is disabled, you will need to restore it with a computer. If yours won't work, perhaps a friend could help, or you could make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for assistance. Instructions in this link...

If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support
