Should I buy the old 30w charger?

I want to get the 30w charger and as far as I understand Apple has discontinued the old model (MR2A2LL/A) for a new more compatible model (MY1W2AM/A) but I can't find anywhere what this "better compatibility" means.

I currently own an iPhone 12 Pro, an Apple Watch Series 6, the Airpods Pro and the Airpods Max and soon to buy the Magsafe duo charger.

I don't live in the US and I can only find the old model for now. Is it worth waiting for the new model to come down here? Or is the old model OK for me according to the devices listed before?

Thank you all in advance.

Thanks for your kind reply. But the recommended charger for the MagSafe duo seems to be different, am I right?

"– 20W USB-C Power Adapter that supports 9V/2.22A (sold separately) for faster wireless charging up to 11W

– 27W or higher USB-C Power Adapter that supports 9V/3A (sold separately) for faster wireless charging up to 14W"

For what I can see a 27w or higher is recommended for even faster wireless charging. I might be missing something though since my knowledge in the area is not the best.
