Anyone have luck deregistering iMessage? The apple function did not work for me.
I switched to an android phone. I switched off iMessage on all my devices. I followed apple's instructions and used the tool to deregister from iMessage. I am told that my phone number is no longer registered with iMessage but unfortunately I am continuing to have issues with not receiving texts and not receiving group messages. the worst part is that the sender has no idea i am not receiving their messages. Has anyone had luck dealing with this? From the majority of posts on forums, looks like it is a problem that can't be solved.
