I accidentally deleted some data in an iPhone app and the owner of the app indicated I can restore the data from iCloud since I was backing it up in iCloud. How do I do a restore?

One cannot perform a "selective restore", it's either a full restore or no restore.
Thank you but I don’t want to to do a full restore of my iphone, just a selective restore of a specific app’s data. The data for this one application disappeared a couple of weeks ago and if I do full restore from a couple of weeks ago, I’ll lose all the *new* data in my other apps on a full restore. I was expecting this would be a feature of iCloud. If it’s not then iCloud backup is only useful if you discover that you have a partial data loss the exact moment that it happened.
Thank you for confirming. I’m hoping Apple notes discussions like this on these forums for consideration for future releases. That is very disappointing that one can’t do a partial restore.
