External SSD (APFS) - Other Volumes using 220GB

I have an external 480GB SSD that used to be used for macOS. I erased it to APFS to use it as a storage device. Unfortunately, other volumes is using 222.95GB of storage and I can't figure out why it is using all this space. What can I do to get this space back for use?

Erasing "Container disk6", after selecting View --> Show All Devices, resolved my issue.
