Printer support

I can no longer print from my IMac my Mac keeps telling me HP software will harm my devise. Yes I have upgraded to the latest OS and have erased all old versions, of HP software. I downloaded the newest version(but the same message). I have a HP officejet 4655, which has worked fine tell you started all your upgrades!!!
