What happens to Homekit if organizer leaves family

Homekit organizer wants to join another family, so would organizer have to reinstall each plug/bulb in homekit after it moves to a new family, or would the “merge” info solve that?

I didn't realize there were 2 parts to the HomeKit. My Home and Home Hub. I didn't realize there were 2 parts to the HomeKit. My Home and Home Hub. I added all my lights to My Home instead of the Hub. Is that a fair assumption? And I tried to add my light to the Hub but because it's over on My Home, it won't add until the device is reset. Is that true?

I think they will need to delete the home and you will need to set everything up again from scratch. Same applies with the family sharing group.
