missing iphone notes

Hi all, recently upgraded my iphone from an 8 to an 11. Started the phone brand new, didn’t download the last backup from my iphone 8.

However, i need to access the “on your iphone” notes from my iphone 8!! i definitely have an old backup in my icloud but i can’t figure out how to access it, without wiping my 11 and setting it up with my iphone 8 backup. any ideas?
