I have deleted my duplicate contacts on icloud.com but they are still showing up on my Apple phone 11pro

I looked up on the internet how to get rid of duplicate contacts on my iphone and it said to go to icloud.com on my Dell pc and click on contacts and delete those duplicate contacts 1 by 1. I did that but they still show up on my apple 11pro iphone. I have too many contacts so my car wont register them all so I need to delete the duplicates. Please help me by telling me how to delete them.

Try - If you see duplicate contacts after setting up iCloud Contacts - Apple Support.
