Do I need a receipt to claim warranty for my Apple Watch

Hi All,

I'm selling my Apple Watch Series 6 but no longer have the receipt, can the person I'm selling it to still claim warranty?

I've checked the serial number and everything looks fine (see attached).

Warrenty of a purchased Apple Watch Hi, I am wondering how the warranty of an Apple Watch 6 works? I got one as a gift for the past Christmas, and I'm wondering if it automatically comes with a 1-year warranty. If so, would I have to provide information about the person who purchased the Watch, or no further information is needed? Thanks, Sherry

Yes they can, the warranty is tied to the device.
