I suggest you try BlackHole: Virtual Audio Driver
Go to its page:
https://github.com/ExistentialAudio/BlackHole
and click "Download Installer".
It should install like usual.
The page above also has instructions on how to use, but it is fairly simple.
Basically, you get new audio inputs and outputs.
You can send audio from one application to another just by setting the output of the first as BlackHole, and the input of the second as BlackHole.
If you need to monitor that sound on your speakers or headphones at the same time, you need to create a "Multi-Output Device" in Audio MIDI Setup - instructions are also on the page.

I am gladly using Soundflower in Big Sur. However, I fully expect it to fail at some point in the near future.
It seems that BlackHole may persist for a while longer, so if I were to install one them today it would probably be BlackHole
Apparently Blackhole is. See this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252077657
Actually I am using a MOTU M2 and attempting to reduce latency in my online music sessions with Jamkazam. I was using the M2 and the MOTU Low Latency driver to achieve a local latency of 3.1 ms on an older MacBook running OS Catalina. I bought a new Mac mini which came with Big Sur installed. MOTU has yet to deliver the promised Low Latency driver for Big Sur so my local latency went to 8.3 ms and my Jamkazam sessions have suffered. I read somewhere that using a DAW with the M2 when online with Jamkazam could reduce latency. I am trying to track that down. Apparently Blackhole or Sunflower can be used to route signal from one app to another making it possible to use the M2 + DAW (Performer Lite or GarageBand (??) into the Jamkazam app AND reduce local latency in the deal.....or not. Your mileage may vary....I'm way above my technical pay grade here so please forgive any logical blunders.
I was assuming an M1 is involved. :)
Thanks Luis, you have moved me forward in my search.
