How can I recover my disabled old phone?

I recently switched to a new iPhone. I wanted to give my old iPhone 6 to someone else therefore, I proceeded to reset all content & settings in the phone. Once it was done, I was asked to enter a passcode. I tried my previous passcodes and now it is disabled. I have a windows 10 and is there a way of recovering my phone?
