How do I upgrade from OS X EL Capitan 10.11.6 to OS 10.14.0

I purchased the Microsoft Program and need Word, Excel, etc. I cannot download the programs I purchased because I am on a OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and to download the Microsoft Programs requires OS 10.14.0.

Appreciate the help! The computer I have is an iMac 21.5 inch, Late 2015
