I phone 11 and Rode Wireles Go

Hi there, I

am using a Rode Wireless Go microphone to make videos with an I phone 11. When

I connect the Rode microphone to the I phone, the I phone always asks me if it

is a “headset” or “other device”. By choosing “other device” the microphone

works perfectly. At the last connection I accidently choose “headset” and now the

microphone does not work, and I can’t change it back to “other device” anymore. Every

time I connect the microphone it recognizes it as a headset. I did all the

restarts already and still no success. Does anybody know how I can correct

that?

Many thanks

Norbert

Hi SnickZ.

Thanks for that Info, but I dont have a Bluethood connection with the mic, I do plug it in. But I have figured it out now: On the I phone I have to go to "Sounds & Haptic" then "Headphone Safety" then "Lightning Adapters" and then "Forget all Adapters".

Once i have done that the phone will ask me again, when I plug in the mic "if it is a headseat or other device" I then choose "other devis" and voila it works.

Greetings Norbert
