*.p7m File won't open on Mail app or Outlook for Mac

Dear All,

i have a mixed environment of Mac and PC at the Office. Several invoices are received by mail, but some are encrypted with S/Mime protocol, and appear as a *.p7m file. On a PC, Outlook opens it with no problem, but on a Mac, either the mail app or Outlook for Mac won’t open the file. I have tried several certificates, with no sucess. On iOS happens the same problem, but there is an app P7M Viewer that can open and save the file as a PDF. I tried to use the App’s certificates and install them on the Mac, but, although installed with sucess on the Login target of Keychain, it doesn’t work. Has anyone come across this issue that might help?
