Search bar disappears on my iPhone SE 2020

Sometimes when I swipe down from Home Screen to open the search bar, it does not pop up but the screen gets blur and stays like that until I lock the phone or press the home button

Try a forced restart and see if that makes a difference.

Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons until you see the Apple logo. When you see the Apple logo, you can let go of the buttons. Let the phone start up.

It sounds like the control center is being invoked because the screen gets blurry, but it doesn’t actually appear. When was the last time that you restarted your phone?
