problem with Final Cut Pro X animated typewriter effect and Retime Hold function

To clarify exactly what I did:

1) created a multiline title using "Typewriter"

2) selected in the timeline, pressed Option-G to make a compound clip

3) moved the playhead until the first line was displaying, press H. Adjusted the duration of the Hold frame.

3') repeated the process for the end of the second line.

Retiming works just fine.

Maybe you can create test minimal project, with just a title made into a compound an retimed as you did.

Export this to xml and post the xml file so we can test. You can send it to yourself using wetransfer and post the link here.

Add the title to your timeline, adjust it and then turn it into a compound clip. Apply the retiming to the compound.
