Mac Pro SATA clone to SSD

I have a MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6 Mid 2010; 3.2 GHz Quad-Dore Intel Xeon with 2 SATA Hard Drives. I have room for 4 Hard Drives.

I want to upgrade the 2 SATA Hard Drives to 2 SSD's. Can I just install the 2 SSD's in the remaining Hard Drive Slots? How do I clone the SATA drives to the SSD's? I do not want to use the SATA drives. Just the SSD's.

Mac Pro, macOS 10.13

Hi,

You need to get 2.5inch to 3.5inch drive converter to install 2.5inch SSDs on your Mac Pro which is available at Amazon.

And you can create bootable clone drives with SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner which are available at following sites.
