Security of Bootcamp

I'm a little concerned about the security of Bootcamp...

I mean if someone has access to my Windows, could they potentially delete my macOS partition and remove my User Account and Recovery/FireVault password?

I hope Apple created some protection to avoid changes to macOS partitions.

Hope someone can give me a clear answer 👌

Bootcamp security Hi, I have an iMac 2020 i7 3.8 GHz 8-intel core with a Radeon pro 5500 XT 8 GB. I have used bootcamp to create a partition for windows 10 so I can access steam for VR back catalougue content as I have just purchased an Oculus Quest 2 with a link cable (don't know how well the 5500 XT will play out). All that said, I know nothing much about computers and Mac's etc. So, Question: if I have windows 10 partitioned on my iMac, do I need to install security features for Windows when using it or will the security I have for the iMac suffice. I have Intego software but not the full suite - think I have virus barrier. It's just, someone said 'watch out for hackers' in a weary tone, and it freaked me out...a bit.

SECURITY SUITE I bought a used MACBOOK PRO and had a new hard drive put in. I need it as secure as possible as its being used for school. I bought this due to the fact of APPLE PRODUCTS REPUTATION FOR BEING SECURE. With that being said I heard now that I have this that in fact I do need to install a quality security suite. Is this true or am I wasting time and money. I went with a rather elite system but I now am conflicted. Do I really need this security or what??

You can secure macOS using FileVault2 - Use FileVault to encrypt the startup disk on your Mac - Apple Support.
You can secure Windows using Bitlocker - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-on-device-encryption-0c453637-bc88-5f74-5105-741561aae838
