Lidar laser emission on iPhone 12 pro
1. What's the maximum emision of the Lidar Laser on the iPhone 12 pro? 2. Can the laser be disabled completely if I do not want to use it? I have just received the iPhone 12 pro which I was very exited about and I got very disappointed straight away with a disclaimer that it has a class 1 laser which if demeged or not used correctly can expose you to the harmlfull infrared laser emission. The class 1 laser can mean either low emission or emission of any strength contained within device. Now, the phone is something which can be dropped and demeged easily and you might be exposed to the hazardous laser without knowing as it's invisible. I now feel very uncomfortable pointing this thing at my young children to take a photo which was the main purpose of buying such expensive phone. I do understand that it is designed to be safe but we seen phones melfunctioning, blowing up and being called off due to faults so I would really like someone to confirm what is the maximum beam emission on the laser to fully understand the risks. Many thanks
