How do I update/Upgrade iPhoto on my Mac OS Catalina?

iPhoto was discontinued by Apple in 2015 and it will not run on Catalina. It was replaced by the "Photos" app. If you hold down the option key while opening the Photos app you can select your iPhotos library and Photos will open and convert it.
