Cherry Why does my flashlight turn off in video mode automatically

So I have a iPhone se the second generation as a photographer who likes taking random photos and videos lighting makes a big difference..but every time I try to turn it on in video mode it doesn’t turn on unless it’s in a dark room which is fuking stupid if it’s a feature of the new phones. Is there a way to turn it on manually and use the video flash in day light so it doesn’t turn off automatically ?
