Should I update to the latest macOS on my Mid 2011 iMac?

I have not used this computer much at all over the last 2-3 years but will begin using it much more.

iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)

Processor: 2.5GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB

Currently running macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6

High Sierra is the latest version you can run.
