Adding Instagram to iPad

I have a 4th generation iPad (model MD 513LLA, ios 10.3.3). Is there a way for me to add Instagram? I am most definitely not a computer geek, so I need an easy way.

Thank you. I wish I had heard from you earlier. Anyway, my iPad is too old, and it cannot update its operating system beyond 10.3.3. However, I have found that by copying and pasting the photo's link, I can transfer the photo to Instagram. (At least I think I did it. Maybe I'm thinking of Facebook)

I found a way, although it's not elegant, and it's not the prescribed way. Anyway, whether I use iPad or iMac, I can send photos to Instagram by simply copying and pasting the photo file in the Instagram message line.
