How to hide (or minimize) album art on playlist's song view

When I open music app playlist in song view at my macbook, album art is taking too much space of view where I like to see more info of songs. How can I minimize that playlist's title column and perhaps hide album art all the way?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

You have to uncheck the Preference for "When In Songs View, Waste Half the Space on Randomly Selected Art."


Ha, ha, jk. Unfortunately there is no such Preference. It is a built in feature now, and and Apple has not said if they plan to change it back. Many people think it is a poor design. If you want to give feedback to Apple, use this link:
