What happens when you try? Are there any error messages? Have you selected content to sync?

On the device's Music tab make sure that you also have some content selected for syncing. This could be all music, or selected playlists etc.

Nothing happens when I click the Sync tab on my iPod page in iTunes and box is checked for Sync only checked songs. I checked the most recent songs added and they are checked.
When I run Diagnostics test, all device connectivity tests pass, but no iPod found when running device sync test.

That was it! The Sync Music box was not checked, for whatever reason.
