Color Calibration with Samsung Monitor is giving me BIZARRE results

Okay, so I'm working with lightroom, final cut pro, or pretty much any other program. I drag any of these windows to my external monitor and the colors completely change, not instantly but after one second. How can I get both of these monitor calibrated perfectly the same? It can obviously be done as there is that one second where it is perfect, then changes. This make color correction impossible, and not at all accurate.

I've tried the calibration tools in the display preferences but nothing has worked. Does anyone have a solution to this disaster of a problem?
