Deleting Default BigSur Apps

Is there a way to delete the default apps on Big Sur? I'm meaning the apps like stocks, news, etc. I know for a fact I'll never use them and rather them off my MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

No you cannot delete the built in apps on a mac, that are part of the system,

and the system is on a read only Volume meaning you cannot add delete

or edit items on that Volume.

These apps take up very little room, just ignore them.

I stand corrected !

This is my first Mac.

I figured it would be as easy to un-install as the preloaded bloatware that came on my iphone especially with a 3rd party paid for program software.

But of course it is'nt . . . It's Apple.

That fact OP even has to ask this question is bothersome to me.

Yes, you are correct because I actually tried but the option was greyed out.
